The main goal in Truth Runner is to guide your character along a path, making choices at various gates to progress and see how your decisions influence your journey.
Aim to reach the end of each level, or accumulate the highest score, by navigating through the challenges.
Controls are straightforward. Use your mouse to click on the "Truth" or "Lie" gates as you approach them, directing your character to the desired path. On mobile devices, simply tap on the gates to make your selection.
As you run, you'll constantly face binary choices at gates, often labeled "Truth" or "Lie." Your character will visually transform or collect items based on these selections. Each choice has an immediate effect, altering your appearance and the items you carry.
The game encourages quick thinking; you'll need to decide swiftly as you approach each gate. Experiment with different choices to observe various character transformations and discover all possible outcomes.
Read carefully - Each gate presents a scenario; quickly read the text to understand the choice before you make your decision.
Observe consequences - Pay attention to how your character changes and what items they collect after each choice, as this indicates the path you're on.
Try both paths - Don't be afraid to choose "Lie" sometimes; it might lead to unexpected and interesting visual transformations or outcomes. Speed matters - You'll need to make quick decisions as the character is always running forward. Hesitation can lead to missing a gate.
Replay for variety - Play through multiple times, making different choices at key points, to see all the unique character looks and endings.
