The goal in Knots Master 3D is to untangle all the ropes in each level until none are overlapping or stuck. Every rope must be completely free from the others.
Use your mouse to control the game. Click and drag the screen to rotate the entire 3D knot structure, allowing you to view it from all angles. To move a rope, left click on it and drag it to a new position.
If playing on a touch device, tap and swipe to rotate and drag ropes.
Progress through levels by successfully untangling each knot. The puzzles increase in complexity, introducing more ropes, tighter knots, and fixed anchor points that add to the challenge.
Some ropes are fixed and cannot be moved, acting as anchors or obstacles. Focus on moving the free ropes first and planning their path around these fixed elements.
Observe carefully - Rotate the knot to view it from all angles before making any moves. Sometimes a knot looks simpler from a different perspective. Identify fixed points - Notice which ropes are attached to static anchors.
These can't be moved, so plan your untangling around them. Focus on outer ropes - Often, the outermost ropes are easiest to free first, creating more space to manipulate the inner knots.
Undo if stuck - Don't be afraid to undo your last few moves if you realize you've created a bigger tangle. There's usually an undo button. Look for color changes - Ropes change color when they are no longer intertwined.
Use this visual cue to confirm successful disentanglement. One at a time - Try to focus on freeing one specific rope or section of ropes at a time, rather than trying to solve the whole puzzle at once.
