The primary goal in Grindcraft is to harvest resources, craft a vast array of items, and continually expand your production capabilities to unlock new worlds and advanced recipes. It's all about progression and seeing how far you can build your empire. Controls are simple: you'll primarily use your mouse to click on resources and crafting recipes. Every interaction, from gathering wood to combining materials, is done with a left click. You start by clicking basic world items like dirt and wood to gather them. Once you have enough, the crafting menu will light up, allowing you to click on recipes to combine items into new ones. As you craft more complex items, you'll unlock new resource types and eventually automate your gathering. The unique aspect is its two-part crafting: clicking "world" resources adds them to your inventory, then you click on recipes to combine inventory items or inventory items with other world items to create new things.
Prioritize basic tools - Crafting pickaxes and axes early greatly speeds up resource gathering for stone and wood. Automate early - As soon as you can, invest in structures or workers that automatically gather common resources like wood and stone. Experiment with recipes - Don't be afraid to click different world items and inventory items together; new recipes often appear unexpectedly. Balance production - Keep an eye on your resource consumption for complex items; you might need to boost production of a single base material. Unlock new worlds - Focus on crafting the items needed to access the Nether and The End quickly; they offer unique, powerful resources. Stockpile common items - Always keep a decent supply of basic items like wood, stone, and dirt, as they're foundational for many advanced crafts.
