The main goal of Fish Story 2 is to catch specific types of fish or reach a target score before the timer runs out. Each level presents new objectives and challenges, requiring you to be a skilled angler.
To play, use your mouse to aim where you want to cast your fishing line. Left click to drop your hook into the water. If playing on a touch device, simply tap the screen to cast.
Successfully complete the objective for each level to unlock the next stage. As you advance, you'll encounter new fish species, power-ups, and more complex layouts.
Target high-value fish - Focus on catching larger or rarer fish types as they award more points and help you reach score goals faster.
Utilize power-ups - Keep an eye out for special items like bombs or extra time bubbles; grab them to gain a significant advantage.
Avoid obstacles - Don't waste casts on junk or rocks, as these can cost you valuable time and don't contribute to your score. Plan your casts - Before clicking, observe the fish movement patterns to anticipate where they'll be when your hook reaches them.
Chain catches - If possible, try to catch multiple similar fish in one cast for bonus points or to clear objectives efficiently.
