The main goal in Death Dice is to survive as long as possible by strategically rolling dice to defeat enemies and advance through increasingly difficult levels. Each turn presents new challenges that require careful decision-making.
Your primary interaction method is the mouse. You'll use the left click to roll your dice, select actions, and navigate the game interface. Most actions, like moving your character or attacking, are initiated by clicking on the corresponding dice face or target.
After rolling the die, its face determines what you can do. For example, a "move" face lets you choose a new tile, while an "attack" face enables you to strike an adjacent foe. Plan your turns carefully, anticipating enemy movements and conserving health.
Some special dice faces might appear, offering unique benefits like healing or powerful area-of-effect attacks. Learning when to use these abilities can turn the tide of a challenging encounter.
Prioritize threats - Eliminate enemies that deal high damage or have unique abilities first to reduce the overall danger on the board.
Manage your health - Don't be afraid to retreat or use defensive dice rolls if your health is low; a few turns of recovery can be better than a risky attack.
Positioning is key - Try to position yourself to attack multiple enemies or avoid being surrounded, using obstacles to your advantage.
Understand dice faces - Learn what each dice face does and how to best utilize it in different situations, whether for offense, defense, or utility.
Save special abilities - If you have dice faces that grant powerful special abilities, save them for critical moments or tough boss encounters. Explore the map - Sometimes, there are hidden pathways or power-ups; don't rush to the exit without checking out the entire level.
