The goal of Scary Halloween Match 3 is to connect three or more identical spooky items, clearing them from the game board to complete specific level objectives within a limited number of moves.
To play, use your mouse or touch input. Left click or tap on an item, then drag it to an adjacent item (horizontally or vertically) to swap their positions. The swap must result in an immediate match of three or more identical items.
As you clear items, new ones fall from the top to fill the board. Complete the level's objective – like collecting a certain number of pumpkins or clearing all slime – before you run out of moves.
Matching four or five items creates powerful boosters. Match four to get a striped item that clears a row or column, and match five in an L or T shape for a bomb that clears an area.
Matching five in a row creates a color bomb, which removes all items of a selected color.
Prioritize objectives - Always focus on the main level objective first, rather than just making random matches. Create power-ups - Look for opportunities to match four or five items to generate striped boosters, bombs, or color bombs.
Combine boosters - Swapping two power-ups together creates an even more powerful effect, clearing larger sections of the board. Work from the bottom - Making matches at the bottom of the board can cause more items to shift, potentially creating new, unintended matches.
Target obstacles - If there are chained items or slime, try to make matches adjacent to them to clear them efficiently.
Save special items - Don't use a color bomb immediately if it's not crucial; wait for a moment when it can clear many items of a problematic color.
