The main goal in Mahjong Quest is to clear the entire board by matching identical pairs of 'free' tiles.
To play, use your mouse to left click on a free tile, then left click on another identical free tile to remove the pair. On touch devices, simply tap the tiles.
A tile is considered 'free' if it isn't covered by any other tile and has at least one of its long sides (left or right) open.
Progress through the adventure map by successfully completing each Mahjong layout. New levels and challenges will unlock as you clear previous stages, pushing you further into the quest.
Keep an eye out for special tiles or power-ups that might appear in later levels, which can assist you in clearing more complex boards.
Clear Top Tiles First - Focus on removing tiles from higher stacks to free up more options below. Plan Ahead - Look several moves ahead to ensure you don't block crucial tiles needed for future matches.
Use Shuffle Wisely - If available, save the shuffle option for when you have very few free pairs left. Match Blocking Tiles - Prioritize matching tiles that are currently blocking other potential pairs.
Don't Rush - Take your time to observe the board; there's usually no timer pressure in Mahjong Quest.
