The goal in Ludo Hero is to be the first player to move all four of your colored tokens from your starting base into your corresponding home column in the center of the board.
You control the game entirely with your mouse. To roll the die, simply left click on it. After rolling, if you have valid moves, left click on the token you wish to move.
Gameplay progresses by taking turns rolling the die. You need a roll of six to bring a token out of your base and onto the starting square. Once a token is in play, you move it clockwise around the track according to the number rolled.
Strategically, you can capture opponent tokens by landing on the same square, sending them back to their base. Utilize safe zones, marked with stars, where your tokens cannot be captured, to protect your pieces.
Prioritize bringing tokens out - Always try to roll a six to get as many tokens as possible onto the board early. Spread your tokens - Don't keep all your tokens clustered together; having pieces at different positions offers more strategic options.
Capture opponents wisely - Sending an opponent's token back is powerful, but don't overextend a token if it means risking capture itself. Utilize safe zones - Plan your moves to land on starred safe zones whenever possible to protect your valuable tokens from capture.
Block enemy paths - If you have two tokens on adjacent squares, you can form a block that prevents opponents from passing.
Focus on one token for home - Once you have a token close to its home column, prioritize getting it all the way in to secure a win.
