Game Of Bows is a competitive PvP archery game where two players face off in a turn-based duel. This skill-based action title, playable directly in your browser, challenges you to calculate the perfect angle and power for your shots.
Using a simple click-and-drag mouse control system, you must account for wind and distance to hit your opponent and deplete their health before they defeat you.
The controls in Game Of Bows are intuitive but require practice to master. To fire your arrow, you'll use your mouse. Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag away from your character.
A trajectory line will appear, showing the predicted path of your arrow.
The further you drag the cursor, the more power you'll put into the shot, increasing its speed and distance. Moving the cursor up or down changes the angle of the shot. Releasing the mouse button fires the arrow.
Finding the right balance between power and angle is the key to victory.
What separates a novice from a pro archer is the ability to adapt to changing conditions. Before every shot, pay close attention to the wind indicator on the screen.
It shows both the direction and the strength of the wind, which will push your arrow off its intended course.
You must learn to compensate by aiming slightly into the wind. If the wind is blowing strongly to the right, you'll need to aim to the left of your target.
Similarly, you'll need to adjust your arc based on your distance from the opponent and any differences in elevation.
You can enjoy Game Of Bows completely free without any downloads or installations. Because it runs on HTML5, it works directly in your web browser on most modern devices.
This also means it's unblocked and accessible on school or work networks, making it easy to jump into a quick archery duel whenever you have a spare moment.
The goal in Game Of Bows is to defeat your opponent in a one-on-one archery duel. You win by hitting them with arrows until their health bar is completely depleted.
Controls are managed entirely with the mouse. To shoot, press and hold the left click button. Drag the cursor to adjust the angle and power of your shot; a dotted line will show your projected trajectory. Release the left click to fire the arrow.
Each player takes a turn shooting. After you fire, your opponent gets a chance to retaliate. You must always account for the on-screen wind indicator, which shows the wind's direction and speed, as it will affect your arrow's flight path.
Hitting the opponent's head deals extra damage.
Watch the Wind - Always check the wind indicator before each shot. A strong gust can completely alter your arrow's path, so compensate by aiming against it. Aim for the Head - Headshots deal significantly more damage than body shots.
Prioritizing these precise shots can end a match much faster. Use a Reference Point - After your first shot, use its landing spot as a reference. If you were close, only make small adjustments to your power or angle.
Master the Arc - Don't always shoot in a straight line. A higher arc can help you shoot over obstacles or land a precise shot when the wind is tricky. Power Control - Full power isn't always the answer.
For closer targets or with a strong tailwind, a softer, more controlled shot is often more accurate.
