The goal of Legend Street Fighter is to defeat all opposing fighters in a series of one-on-one matches. You'll progress through stages, facing increasingly challenging opponents until you emerge as the ultimate champion.
Control your chosen fighter using the keyboard. Use WASD for movement: W to jump, A to move left, S to crouch, and D to move right. Press J for Punch, K for Kick, and L to Block incoming attacks.
Experiment with U, I, and O for various special moves unique to your character, often requiring specific directional inputs first.
To win a round, you must deplete your opponent's health bar before they deplete yours. Winning two rounds secures the match victory. As you advance, opponents will demonstrate more complex strategies and use their special moves more frequently.
Successfully landing attacks and blocking hits will charge a special meter, allowing you to unleash more powerful versions of your special moves or even devastating super attacks. Timing these powerful moves can be key to overcoming tough adversaries.
Learn your character - Spend time in practice mode to understand your fighter's strengths, weaknesses, and entire move list. Block effectively - Blocking (L key) is crucial for defense. Learn when to block high, low, and anticipate opponent attacks.
Master special move inputs - Practice the precise directional and button combinations for your character's special attacks until they become muscle memory. Utilize combos - Find simple two-to-three hit combos to maximize damage output after a successful opening.
Manage distance - Keep opponents at an optimal range for your character's attacks, whether you prefer close-range brawling or long-range pokes.
Conserve your meter - Don't waste your special meter; save it for critical moments or powerful super moves that can turn the tide of a match.
