How Does the Infection Spread?
In each level of Virus, the infection follows a predictable, repeating pattern. It might move in a straight line, bounce off walls, or follow a more complex route. Your first task is always to watch and understand this pattern.
The game doesn't rely on random chance; it's a pure test of logic and timing.
When you click, you create a stationary antibody. If the moving virus touches your antibody, the virus is neutralized. However, a poorly placed antibody will miss its target, wasting a move and potentially making the level harder to solve.
What Makes a Perfect Move?
The scoring system in Virus is simple: fewer clicks are better. While you can often solve a puzzle with multiple clicks, the real challenge is finding the single most effective spot to place your antibody.
A perfect move is one that intercepts the virus with just one click, earning you the maximum three-star rating for the level.
This means you need to anticipate the virus's path. Don't click where the virus currently is, but where it's going to be. As you progress, the patterns become more intricate, demanding greater foresight and more creative placement of your antibodies.
