How Does the Collection Tray Work?
The central mechanic in Tile Fruits revolves around the seven-slot collection tray at the bottom of the screen. When you click on a fruit tile from the main board, it moves into an empty slot in this tray.
The objective is to gather three matching fruit tiles in the tray simultaneously.
Once you have a set of three, they will automatically disappear, freeing up those three slots. The challenge comes from managing this limited space.
If you fill all seven slots without being able to form a match of three, you've hit a dead end, and the level is lost. Careful planning is essential to avoid getting stuck.
Strategy for Complex Levels
As you progress, the tile layouts become much more complex, with many layers stacked on top of each other. A key strategy is to prioritize clearing tiles that are trapping the most other tiles underneath them.
Don't just click the easiest available matches-think a few steps ahead.
Try to identify three matching tiles before you start clicking. Sometimes it's wise to use the collection tray to temporarily hold a tile that's in your way to uncover a more useful one below it.
Always keep an eye on how many free slots you have left in your tray.
Boosters and Power-Ups
When you're really stuck, Tile Fruits offers a few helpful boosters. The Undo button lets you take back your last move, which is perfect for when you make an accidental click.
The Shuffle power-up will completely rearrange the remaining tiles on the board, which can reveal new matching opportunities. Finally, a Hint can point out a potential match if you can't see one.
