How Do You Perform Tricks?
Getting air is the key to winning in Skating Park. When you approach a ramp, press the jump button right at the edge to launch yourself into the air. While airborne, you can perform different tricks to score points and fill your boost meter.
Simple grabs and flips are assigned to specific keys. Mastering the timing of these tricks is crucial; you need to complete the animation before you land back on the ground.
A successful trick gives you a burst of speed and adds to your boost, while a failed landing will cause you to stumble and lose momentum.
Navigating Ramps and Rails
Each track is designed like a real-world skate park, filled with a variety of elements to use to your advantage. Half-pipes allow you to maintain speed and chain together aerial maneuvers, while long rails offer opportunities for grinding.
To grind, simply jump onto a rail and your character will automatically balance.
Learning the layout of each course is essential. Some ramps lead to shortcuts, while others might be placed to set you up for a massive jump over a gap.
Use your first few laps on a new track to identify the optimal racing line and the best spots to perform high-scoring tricks.
What Are the Different Game Modes?
Skating Park offers a couple of ways to play. The main mode is Championship, where you compete in a series of races across multiple parks.
Placing high in the standings earns you points, and your goal is to have the most points at the end of the series to win the cup and unlock new content.
There is also a Time Trial mode. Here, you race against the clock on any unlocked track without any opponents. This is the perfect place to practice your lines, master complex trick combos, and set new personal best lap times.

Chain Your Tricks - Landing multiple different tricks in a single jump provides a combo multiplier, filling your boost meter much faster. Master the Grind - Grinding on rails is a safe and consistent way to build boost without needing a big ramp.
It's perfect for connecting different sections of the track. Boost on Straights - Save your speed boost for long, straight sections of the course. Using it in a tight corner is wasteful and can cause you to crash.
Find the Shortcuts - Every track has at least one hidden path or alternate route. Look for ramps that launch you to upper levels to cut corners and get ahead.
Pre-load Your Jumps - For maximum airtime, hold down the spacebar as you approach a ramp and release it right at the peak. This gives you more time to perform complex tricks.
