What Are the Rules for Pawns?
Your primary goal in Quick Dice is to move all four of your pawns from their starting base, around the entire board, and up into your colored home column. Each turn begins when you click to roll the die.
Afterward, you select an available pawn to move forward the number of spaces shown.
While the die roll introduces chance, your decisions are what lead to victory. You'll constantly weigh your options: should you push a pawn that's close to the finish line, bring a new piece into play, or position a pawn to capture an opponent?
Capturing an enemy pawn sends it all the way back to their base, which is a major setback for them and a huge advantage for you.
How Do Special Rolls Work?
Rolling a six is the most powerful move in the game. It's the only number that lets you move a pawn out of your base and onto the starting square.
A six also grants you an extra roll, allowing you to chain moves together for a significant advantage.
You can use this bonus turn to bring a new pawn out and then immediately advance it, or to move another pawn that's already in a strategic position. To capture an opponent, you must land on their exact square.
Be mindful of the board's safe zones-these marked squares protect your pawns from being captured.

Game Tips
Prioritize one pawn - It's often better to focus on getting one pawn safely home rather than advancing all four a little bit at a time.
Use your sixes wisely - After rolling a six, decide if it's more strategic to bring a new pawn onto the board or to advance a pawn that's already in a key position.
Target lead opponents - When you have a chance to capture, prioritize opponents' pawns that are far along the track to deal the most damage to their progress.
Hug the safe zones - If an opponent is close behind you, try to land on a marked safe square to protect your pawn from being captured.
Create blockades - If you can't capture, sometimes positioning your pawn in front of an opponent can block them and force them into a less ideal move on their next turn.
