How Do You Play Ludo Legend?
The goal is to be the first player to move all four of your colored tokens from your starting yard, around the full circuit of the board, and into your home column. Each turn begins when you click to roll a single six-sided die.
You must roll a six to move a token out from your yard and onto its starting square.
The path is a shared, competitive space. If your move causes you to land on a square occupied by an opponent's token, you send their piece all the way back to their starting yard.
This forces them to roll a six again to get that piece back in play. However, some squares are marked with a star; these are safe zones where your tokens cannot be captured.
What Is the Best Strategy?
While the die roll introduces an element of chance, Ludo Legend is ultimately a game of strategic decisions. After you roll, choosing which token to move is your most important choice.
Do you advance your leading token closer to the finish line, or do you use the roll to position another token for a potential capture?
A very effective tactic is creating a block. When you manage to land two of your own tokens on the same square, you form a blockade that no opponent's piece can pass.
This is a great defensive maneuver that can trap rivals behind you, giving your other tokens a clear path forward. Mastering when to form a block and when to break it apart to advance is crucial for victory.
