How Do You Create Special Gems?
The key to high scores and clearing difficult levels in Jewel Magic is creating special gems. You do this by matching more than the standard three jewels.
Matching four gems in a row or column creates a Line Gem, which will clear its entire row or column when matched.
For an even bigger effect, try making matches in an 'L' or 'T' shape with five gems. This creates a Wrapped Gem or Bomb, which explodes and destroys all the jewels in a 3x3 area around it.
The most powerful special is the Color Bomb, created by matching five gems in a single straight line. Swap this with any gem to clear all gems of that color from the board.
