What Is The Core Gameplay Loop?
In Hexable, you get three unique hexagon shapes at the bottom of your screen. Your job is to drag and drop these pieces onto empty slots on the main hexagonal grid.
When you fill an entire line of hexagons in any direction-horizontally or diagonally-that line vanishes, earning you points and freeing up space.
The game continues as long as you can place the incoming pieces. The real test is managing the limited board space as more complex shapes appear. You'll need to think a few moves ahead to see how your current placements will affect future options.

The goal in Hexable is to score as many points as possible by placing hexagonal shapes on a grid to clear full lines. The game ends when you can no longer place any of the three available pieces on the board.
Use your mouse to control the game. Left click and hold on a piece at the bottom of the screen, then drag it to an empty space on the grid. Release the left click to place it.
You are always given three pieces to place. Once all three are on the board, a new set of three will appear. The challenge increases as the board fills up, leaving less room to maneuver.
The hexagonal grid allows you to clear lines in three directions: horizontally and in two different diagonal patterns. Clearing multiple lines with a single piece results in a combo score bonus.

Focus on Combos - Clearing two or more lines with a single piece grants a significant score bonus. Always look for combo opportunities. Keep the Center Clear - A cluttered center makes it very difficult to place larger, more awkward pieces.
Try to build from the edges inward when possible. Avoid Single Gaps - An isolated empty hex is the hardest spot to fill. Try to avoid creating these holes unless you have a single-hex piece ready to use.
Plan Your Pieces - Look at all three available pieces before making a move. Decide the best placement order to maximize space and set up future plays.
Don't Rush Small Pieces - Save the smallest pieces (one or two hexes) for tight situations where you need to complete a line to free up critical space. Think in Diagonals - Remember that lines clear in three directions.
