How Do You Curve the Ball?
Mastering the curve is the secret to success in Freekick Training. To execute a shot, you use your mouse to click and drag from the ball. The line you draw represents the ball's flight path.
A straight line results in a straight shot, while an arced line will bend the ball around obstacles.
Experiment with different curves to find the best way around the defensive wall. The length and shape of the line also control the power and height of your kick, giving you complete control over every attempt on goal.
Beating the Wall and Goalie
Your primary obstacles are the defensive wall and the goalkeeper. In early levels, the wall is small, but as you advance, more defenders are added, closing down your shooting angles.
The goalkeeper also becomes more adept, covering more of the goal and reacting faster to your shots.
To score consistently, you need to think strategically. Look for gaps in the wall or aim for the top corners of the net, which are the most difficult areas for the keeper to reach.
Sometimes a perfectly placed, low-power curve shot is more effective than a powerful blast.

Game Tips
Curve is King - A straight shot is easily blocked. Practice bending the ball around the wall to find the open parts of the net. Aim for the Corners - The top corners of the goal are the hardest spots for the goalkeeper to reach.
A well-placed shot there is almost always a goal. Control Your Power - The length of the line you draw dictates the shot's power. Use shorter, more delicate lines for chipping over the wall and longer lines for powerful strikes.
Watch the Goalie's Position - Before you shoot, take note of where the keeper is standing. Aim for the side of the goal they are furthest from. Use the Arc - Don't just think about going around the wall; think about going over it.
A high, looping shot can be very effective against a tall wall and a short keeper.
