Bounce Prediction is a minimalist puzzle game that challenges your spatial reasoning and foresight. In this browser-based game, you use your mouse to analyze a static puzzle and predict the ball's final destination after it ricochets off multiple walls.
It’s a game of pure logic and geometry, similar to mini-golf or billiards but stripped down to its core physics.
Victory in Bounce Prediction isn't about points, but about precision. The goal of each level is to place a small prediction pad exactly where the ball will come to a complete stop. You get one chance per attempt.
If your prediction is correct, you immediately advance to the next, more complex puzzle. If you're even a pixel off, you must restart the level.
The challenge comes from clearing as many levels as you can in a row, testing your ability to visualize angles and trajectories under pressure.
The core mechanic relies on a fundamental principle of physics: the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. You must mentally trace the ball's path from its starting point.
Consider how it will bounce off the first wall, then the second, and so on, until it can no longer move.
Early levels feature simple, open layouts. As you progress, the game introduces more obstacles and tighter corridors, forcing you to calculate a longer series of bounces. Success requires careful observation before you commit to a click.
You can play Bounce Prediction for free directly in your web browser. There are no downloads or installations required.
Because it's an HTML5 game, it runs on most modern devices and can be accessed on networks at school or work that might block other gaming sites.
The goal in Bounce Prediction is to correctly place a marker on the exact spot where the ball will land after bouncing off all the walls. Each level is a unique puzzle requiring precise calculation.
Use your mouse to move the cursor around the level. When you've decided on the final destination, use a left click to place your prediction pad on that spot.
Once you place the pad, the ball is automatically launched. If you were correct, you move on to the next level. If you were incorrect, the level restarts, allowing you to re-evaluate the ball's path and try again.
Trace the Path - Before you click, use your mouse cursor to visually trace the entire path from start to finish. First Bounce is Key - The angle of the very first bounce determines the rest of the trajectory. Double-check your initial calculation.
Look for Corner Traps - When a ball hits a perfect 90-degree corner, it will often reverse its path directly. Use this to your advantage. No Time Limit - The game doesn't have a timer.
Take all the time you need to analyze the puzzle carefully before placing your marker. Small Adjustments - If you fail a level, don't just guess again. Notice how far off you were and adjust your next prediction based on that observation.
