How Do You Grow in Worms.io?

When a worm is eliminated, its entire mass explodes into a chain of large, valuable orbs. Being the first to collect these can cause a massive growth spurt. This creates a high-risk, high-reward environment where players battle over the spoils of defeated rivals.
Mastering the Speed Boost and Trapping
A key mechanic in Worms.io Multiplayer is the speed boost, activated by holding down the left mouse button. This surge of speed is essential for both offense and defense.
You can use it to cut in front of another player, forcing them to crash into your side. It's also your best tool for escaping a larger worm that's trying to encircle you.
Be warned- using the boost comes at a cost. It rapidly drains your mass, making your worm shorter. Strategic use is critical. A common tactic is to get parallel to a smaller worm, boost ahead, and then turn sharply to trap them.
The ultimate goal is to encircle an opponent completely, creating a prison from which they cannot escape.

Boost with Caution - The speed boost drains your mass, making you smaller. Only use it for critical moments, like securing a takedown or escaping a trap.
Scavenge the Scraps - Instead of taking on a giant worm directly, hang around the edges of large fights. When a player is eliminated, you can swoop in to collect the high-value remains with less risk.
Circle of Doom - The most effective strategy is to encircle a smaller player. Use your length to create a loop around them, gradually tightening it until they have no room to move and crash into you.
Play Defensively When Large - Once you're one of the biggest worms, you become a major target. Avoid the chaotic center of the map and stick to the edges, letting smaller, more aggressive players make mistakes and run into you.
Head-on Gamble - If you're about to collide head-on with a worm of similar size, try to boost just before impact. If you can force them to hit your body just behind your head, you'll win the exchange.
