Make sure your path is safe for the last cowboy in line, who might be exposed long after the first one is safe. Efficient Lines - On levels with an ink limit, try to find the shortest possible safe route.
Avoid unnecessary loops or long detours to conserve your drawing ability. Use Obstacles as Cover - Walls and other objects can block the sheriff's line of sight. Draw your path close to these objects to keep your cowboys hidden as they move through the level.
