How Do You Control the Ball?

The controls in Way Down are deceptively simple, yet mastering them is the core challenge. The ball moves horizontally on its own, bouncing from one side of the screen to the other. Your only input is to make it drop.

With a single `left click` or a `tap` on the screen, you stop the ball's horizontal movement and cause it to fall straight down. The key is to time your click perfectly so the ball lands on the platform directly below it.

Release the click, and the ball will resume its side-to-side bouncing on the new platform.

Navigating Tricky Platforms

Each level presents a new gauntlet of platforms. At first, you'll face wide, stationary platforms that are relatively easy to land on. As you progress, the game introduces smaller targets and moving platforms that slide back and forth, demanding much greater accuracy and foresight.

You must successfully chain together drops from one platform to the next. One wrong move-a click too early or too late-will send your ball plummeting off-screen, forcing you to restart the level.

This unforgiving mechanic makes Way Down a true test of reflexes, similar to other difficult one-button games.
