Deciding when to expand your army versus when to consolidate and evolve your existing units is a central strategic choice. A few high-level evolved heroes are often more effective than a dozen low-level ones, especially against tougher dinosaur types.

Leaving some open space allows you to reposition heroes or add new ones to counter unexpected threats from different lanes. Plan Your Merges - Keep your identical units close to each other on the grid.
This makes it faster and easier to drag and merge them during the heat of a difficult wave.
