Traitor Beaver! is a social deduction IO game where a team of industrious beavers must work together to repair their dam. The twist is that one player is a secret traitor, aiming to sabotage the project and eliminate the other players.
This browser-based multiplayer experience combines cooperative tasks with deception, similar to popular games like Among Us, challenging your ability to trust and deceive.
As a regular beaver, your primary objective is to repair the dam before the traitor can ruin it or eliminate your crew. You'll need to explore the area to find resources like logs and branches.
Once you've collected an item, carry it back to the damaged sections of the dam.
Successfully repairing the dam requires teamwork and communication. Keep an eye on your fellow beavers-if you spot suspicious activity or find an eliminated teammate, you can call a meeting to vote on who you think the traitor is.
Ejecting the correct player is key to victory.
Playing the traitor is all about stealth and cunning. Your goal is to prevent the beavers from completing their repairs. You can do this by eliminating other players when they are isolated or by using special sabotage abilities to create chaos and slow down progress.
To avoid suspicion, you must blend in. Pretend to be working on tasks alongside the other beavers. Choose your moments to strike carefully.
Getting caught means you'll almost certainly be voted out, so misdirection and creating alibis are crucial parts of your strategy in Traitor Beaver!.
When a meeting is called, all living players are brought together to discuss who the potential traitor is. Each player can share information about what they saw. After the discussion phase, a vote is held.
You can vote for any other player or choose to skip the vote if you're unsure. The player who receives the most votes is ejected from the game. Be careful-voting out an innocent beaver makes the traitor's job much easier.
You can play Traitor Beaver! for free directly in your web browser. As an HTML5 game, it requires no downloads or installations.
This makes it easy to access on various devices, including Chromebooks at school or computers on a work network, for a quick session of social deduction and teamwork.
Your objective in Traitor Beaver! depends on your role. If you are a regular beaver, your goal is to work with your teammates to gather resources and repair the dam before time runs out.
If you are the traitor, you must secretly sabotage the dam and eliminate the other beavers without being discovered.
Use WASD or the arrow keys to move your beaver around the map. Use the mouse to look around and interact with objects. A left click will allow you to pick up resources, use items, or perform actions like sabotaging and eliminating other players.
Press the E key to report an eliminated beaver and call a meeting.
Regular beavers progress by finding logs and bringing them to the designated repair zones on the dam. The traitor should pretend to do tasks to avoid suspicion while looking for isolated beavers to eliminate.
When a meeting is called, all players discuss and vote on who they think the traitor is.
The player with the most votes is ejected. If the beavers vote out the traitor, they win. If the traitor eliminates enough beavers or the dam's integrity fails, the traitor wins.
Work in Groups - As a regular beaver, staying with at least one other player makes you a much harder target for the traitor. Observe Task Progress - Keep an eye on the dam's repair bar.
If you see someone 'working' but the bar isn't moving, they might be faking the task. Strategic Sabotage - For traitors, sabotaging a critical area far from your location can create a perfect alibi and draw suspicion away from you.
Silent is Suspicious - During meetings, players who say very little or refuse to provide information are often trying to hide something. Don't be afraid to question them. Vote with Logic - Avoid voting for someone based on a single, unconfirmed accusation.
Ejecting an innocent beaver is a huge win for the traitor.
