In addition to the lava, various blocky monsters populate the levels. Some are stationary, while others patrol platforms. You'll need to time your jumps and shots carefully to get past them without taking damage.
Steveman Lava World offers a two-player cooperative mode where a second player can join as Alexman. Working together, you can tackle the challenges as a team.

Progression is straightforward. Clear the level of all red eggs, enter the now-open portal, and you'll move on to the next, more difficult challenge. If you are touched by lava or a monster, you'll have to restart the current level.
Stay on the Move - The lava rises steadily, so never stay in one place for too long. Always be planning your upward path. Prioritize Egg Collection - Defeating monsters is useful, but the portal won't open until every single red egg is collected.
Make them your top priority. Master the Double Jump - Your double jump is essential for reaching high platforms and saving yourself from a fall. Use it to cross large gaps or adjust your landing.
Clear Your Path - If a monster is blocking access to an egg or a crucial platform, it's often better to shoot it from a safe distance than to try and jump over it.
Divide and Conquer in Co-op - In two-player mode, have each player focus on a different side of the screen to collect eggs more efficiently before the lava rises too high.
