What are the Rules for Matching Tiles?
The core mechanic of Snack Mahjong revolves around connecting two identical tiles. A match is valid only if you can draw a straight line between the two tiles that makes a maximum of two 90-degree bends.
Crucially, the path of this line cannot be obstructed by any other tiles on the board.
This means you should first look for tiles that are right next to each other or located on the outer edges of the puzzle.
As you clear more tiles, you'll open up new pathways in the middle of the board, allowing for more complex connections across the grid.
How to Deal with Wooden Box Obstacles
Some levels in Snack Mahjong introduce wooden boxes that block parts of the playing field. You can't match tiles through these boxes, so removing them is a top priority.
To destroy a wooden box, you simply need to make a match with a tile that is directly adjacent to it.
Clearing a neighboring pair will cause any touching boxes to break, opening up that space on the board. Strategically targeting matches next to boxes is essential for clearing the board efficiently and accessing trapped tiles.
