Using the boost consumes your own mass, making your snake slightly shorter with each use. You can see pieces of your snake being shed as you boost. This trade-off means you must use it strategically.
Wasting your boost can leave you vulnerable and smaller than you were before.

Gradually tighten your circle until they have no room to move and crash into you. Follow the Leader - Larger snakes often leave a small trail of dropped mass as they boost. Following them at a safe distance can provide a steady source of food.
Defensive First - When you're small, your main priority is survival. Avoid large groups and aggressive players, focusing instead on collecting the free-floating pellets to build a safe starting size.
