How Do the Choices Work?
As you run down the path in Parents Run, you'll constantly face pairs of gates, typically one blue and one pink. Each gate represents a different life choice. For example, you might have to choose between a gate for 'Studying' and one for 'Playing'.
Blue gates usually represent positive, responsible choices, while pink gates represent more mischievous or less productive ones.
Your decisions directly impact the meter at the top of the screen, pushing it toward the 'good' or 'bad' side. These choices also change your character's appearance in real-time, swapping their clothes and accessories to reflect their evolving personality.
From Toddler to Graduate
The game progresses through different stages of life. You start as a baby and visually grow into a child, a teenager, and finally a young adult. The path is littered with items that correspond to the choices you're making.
Picking up books and educational toys will boost your 'good' score, while grabbing junk food or game controllers will lower it.
The culmination of your run is the final career path reveal. Based on the cumulative score from all your choices, your character is assigned a job, ranging from a CEO to a fast-food worker.
This adds a fun element of surprise and encourages replaying to see all the possible outcomes.

Prioritize the Gates - A gate choice has a much bigger impact on your score than a single item. Always aim for the blue 'good' gate first. Watch the Meter - Keep an eye on the 'Good/Bad' meter at the top.
It's a great real-time indicator of how you're doing and helps you correct your course if you're leaning too far to the 'bad' side. Anticipate Turns - Look ahead to see what gates are coming up.
Positioning yourself in the middle of the path gives you more time to react and move to the correct side. Item Combos - Try to collect items that match the gates you're choosing.
If you're on an academic path, grabbing books and diplomas will be more beneficial. Finish Strong - The final stretch often has score multipliers. Swerve to hit the highest number possible to give your final score a significant boost.
