How Does Territory Capture Work?
The core mechanic of PacXon New Realms is simple to learn but difficult to master. You start on the edge of the game board, which is considered safe territory. By moving into the open field, you begin drawing a line behind you.
To capture an area, you must connect this line back to any part of your existing safe territory.
The challenge comes from the ghosts roaming the field. If a ghost touches your character or the line you are currently drawing, you lose a life.
This creates a tense risk-versus-reward system where you must decide between making small, safe captures or attempting large, high-value grabs.
What Kinds of Power-ups Can You Collect?
To help you out, various power-ups will randomly appear on the board. Grabbing these can completely turn the tide of a level. Some common power-ups include cherries that give you a temporary speed boost, making it easier to outrun ghosts and build walls quickly.
You might also find an ice cream cone that freezes all ghosts in place for a few seconds, giving you a perfect opportunity to capture a large section of the map without risk.
The most powerful item is the classic power pill, which allows you to turn the tables and eat the ghosts for bonus points, just like in Pac-Man.

Game Tips
Go for Small Chunks - It's much safer to capture small, quick sections of the board than to risk everything on one massive enclosure.
Trap the Ghosts - Try to build your walls in a way that traps one or more ghosts in a small, captured area. This clears up the field and makes capturing the rest much easier.
Lure and Switch - Get ghosts to follow you to one side of the screen, then quickly dash to the other side to build your walls with less pressure. Time Your Power-ups - Don't grab a power-up the second it appears.
Wait for the most strategic moment, like when multiple ghosts are closing in, to maximize its effect. Hug the Walls - When not building, stick close to your captured territory.
This minimizes your exposure and gives you a quick escape route if ghosts get too close.
