What Are the Best Tower Placements?

You want to create a long 'kill zone' where multiple defenses can fire on the same targets simultaneously.
Try to cover the entire path, but concentrate your strongest weapons where they'll do the most damage. For example, area-of-effect towers like splash cannons are devastating on tight bends where enemies cluster together.
Long-range sniper towers, on the other hand, are best placed on straightaways where they can pick off targets from a distance.
