If you accidentally pick up a rung of the wrong color, your ladder will shrink. Running into stationary obstacles will also cost you valuable ladder length, so sharp steering is key to success.
Navigating Obstacles and Color Gates
It's not just a straight run to the finish. The track is broken up by large walls that you must overcome. Your collected ladder is used automatically to climb these barriers.
If your ladder isn't long enough to get over the wall, your run is over. This means you have to be efficient and collect as many correct rungs as you can between obstacles.
To keep you on your toes, you'll also run through color gates. These portals instantly change your character's color, forcing you to adjust your collection strategy on the fly. What was the correct color a second ago is now the wrong one, demanding constant attention.
