Releasing the rope at the perfect moment is crucial. Let go at the peak of your forward swing to launch your character across gaps.
Using the WASD or arrow keys allows you to slightly influence your character's body in mid-air, helping you tuck in to avoid an obstacle or stretch out to reach the next platform.

Controlled Collisions - Sometimes it's better to gently bump into a wall to slow down than to swing wildly into a saw blade. Use the environment to your advantage.
Plan Your Path - Before you let go of your rope, look ahead to see where your next anchor point will be. Maintaining a good rhythm is key to clearing difficult sections.
