Guess Who Multiplayer is a digital browser-based adaptation of the classic deduction board game. This two-player puzzle game challenges you to identify your opponent's secret character before they figure out yours.
Using only your mouse, you'll ask a series of yes-or-no questions to systematically eliminate candidates from a grid of 24 unique faces.
The core of Guess Who Multiplayer revolves around strategic inquiry. On your turn, you don't type questions; instead, you select one from a pre-determined list. These questions cover features like hair color, accessories such as glasses or hats, and gender.
Once you ask a question- for example, "Does your character have a mustache?"- your opponent's game will automatically provide a "yes" or "no." Your board will then highlight which characters can be eliminated based on that answer, and you can click to flip them down,
narrowing your field of suspects.
While your secret character is chosen at random, winning is all about strategy. The key is to ask efficient questions. A good opening question is one that splits the board in half, like asking about gender, as this eliminates 12 characters immediately.
Asking about a rare feature like a specific hat is risky early on but can pay off big if you get a "yes."
You can also gain clues from your opponent's questions. If they ask if your character has glasses, you know their character does not have glasses. Using every piece of information is crucial to victory.
Guess Who Multiplayer offers two distinct modes. You can jump into an online match against a random player from anywhere in the world for a quick challenge.
Alternatively, you can create a private game room, which generates a unique code you can share with a friend for a direct one-on-one duel.
This version of Guess Who Multiplayer is a free-to-play HTML5 game that runs directly in your browser. There are no downloads or installations required.
Because it doesn't need extra software, it works perfectly on most school or work networks, allowing you to play a quick match anytime.
Your goal in Guess Who Multiplayer is to correctly identify your opponent's secret character before they guess yours. You'll use a process of elimination based on their answers to your questions.
The entire game is controlled with your mouse. Use a left click to select a question from the list provided on your turn. After you receive a "yes" or "no" answer, left click on the characters on your board that you want to eliminate.
When you are confident you know the answer, click the character to make your final guess.
Each turn, you will ask one question to narrow down the possibilities. Your opponent will do the same on their turn. The game continues back and forth until one player makes a correct final guess.
Be careful, because an incorrect guess results in an automatic loss.
Start Broad - Ask questions that eliminate roughly half the board first, like gender or hair color, to make the most efficient use of your turns. Observe Their Questions - Pay attention to what your opponent asks.
If they ask about hats, it's very likely their own character doesn't have one, giving you a free clue. Don't Guess Prematurely - Wait until you've narrowed the options down to two or three characters before making a final guess.
A wrong guess instantly loses you the game. Memorize the Board - Get familiar with the faces. Knowing who has unique features (like a big nose or an eyepatch) can help you formulate killer questions later in the game.
Use the 50/50 - When you're down to two characters, ask a question that only one of them has. This guarantees you'll know the right answer on your next turn.
