How Do You Win at Solitaire?
Victory in FGP Solitaire is achieved when you successfully build all four foundation piles.
Each foundation must be built by suit, starting with the Ace and ascending in order all the way to the King (A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K).
To do this, you'll need to manipulate the seven columns in the main play area, called the tableau.
Cards in the tableau can be stacked on top of each other in descending order and with alternating colors. For example, a red Jack can be placed on a black Queen.
Uncovering the face-down cards in the tableau is critical to revealing the cards you need to complete the foundations.
Choosing Your Challenge: 1-Card vs. 3-Card Draw
FGP Solitaire offers two distinct modes that change the game's difficulty. The 1-card draw option is perfect for beginners or for a more relaxing game.
In this mode, you flip over one card at a time from the stock pile, making every card in the deck accessible in order.
The 3-card draw is the traditional, more challenging way to play. You'll flip three cards at once from the stock pile, but you can only play the top card of the three.
This requires more planning and strategy, as key cards can get temporarily trapped behind others in the draw pile.

The main objective in FGP Solitaire is to move all 52 cards to the four foundation slots at the top of the screen. Each foundation must be built up by suit, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.
This game is controlled entirely with your mouse. Use a left click to select a card or a stack of cards, then drag them to a valid position. Click on the stock pile in the top-left corner to draw new cards.
To move cards around, you must place them in descending order and with alternating colors on the tableau columns. For example, a black 5 can be placed on a red 6. This allows you to uncover face-down cards.
Empty columns can only be filled with a King.
Before you start, you can choose between a 1-card draw and a 3-card draw. The 1-card draw is easier as you can access every card in the stock pile one by one, while the 3-card draw adds a layer of difficulty.
Game Tips
Expose Hidden Cards First - Always prioritize moves that will turn over a face-down card in the tableau. Information is your most valuable resource. Free the Aces - Move Aces to the foundation piles as soon as they become available.
They don't help you in the tableau and are the required starting point for your foundations. Empty Columns are Powerful - Try to create an empty column in the tableau.
This is the only place a King can be moved, which can unlock major portions of the board. Don't Build Haphazardly - Avoid stacking all your cards onto one or two long columns. Try to build your tableau columns evenly to keep your options open.
Check the Tableau Before Drawing - Before you click the stock pile for more cards, do a full scan of the board. It's easy to miss a potential move when you're focused on the draw pile.
