How Do the Puzzles Work?
The core of Apple Worm is spatial reasoning. You move your worm one square at a time, but the challenge isn't just reaching the apple. After you eat it, your worm grows, and you must use this new length to your advantage.
Your own body becomes a bridge to cross gaps or a platform to hold yourself up.
However, your body is also an obstacle. You can't move through yourself or fall off the edge of the map. Each level requires you to think several steps ahead, planning a route that works both before and after you've eaten the apple.
A wrong move can easily trap you, forcing a quick restart.
