Run into the ball to control it, jump to header, and use your character's special move at the right moment to break the opponent's defense or unleash a powerful shot. Score more goals than your opponent before the timer expires.
Learn Each Character's Special - Specials win matches; knowing yours and recognizing your opponent's makes the difference between getting scored on and shutting them down. Don't Spam Specials - Special abilities have cooldowns; using them randomly leaves you defenseless when you actually need them.
Use the Walls - Banking shots off the side walls is a legitimate strategy; some characters have specials that benefit from wall ricochets.
Defend Your Goal Early - Going for the lead-grab opens you to counter-attacks; in tight matches, holding back early keeps the game close. Match Character to Opponent - Some characters counter others; if you're getting beaten, switch characters between matches to break the pattern.
